The angle is 1/2 the difference of the intercepted arcs.

Join AE and AE Angle DCA = angle AED (both 90, tangent and radius intercect at right angles) Angle CAE = 112 Angle at the centre subtended by the arc CE Angle CDE = 68 angle sum of the quadrilateral DCAE

So 1/2(248-112)=1/2(136)=68
